Our polytunnel has been in place for five months now and we are very pleased with the progress of the crops inside. I popped down to the polytunnel today to check on our winter vegetables. They are all looking rather good and are safely tucked in under the protective fleece. Amongst other things I harvested some delicious Winter Purslane with its sweet spinach flavour and some crunchy Japanese Mizuna with a peppery twang. It is all so refreshingly green after the onslaught of christmas chocolates and mince pies!
