What better way to light up the area beneath a deciduous canopy, in this case, Salix x sepulcralis ‘Chrysocoma’ . Sunlight filtering through the canopy and playing tricks on the flowers lighting and shading at random. The large panicles of yellow flowers grow to 1.2m. Ligularia dentata enjoys a moist soil and will thrive in sun or partial shade. Widely spread through China in grassland, at riversides on slopes, forest margins and understories at 900 – 3200m.
